Love Shower

The people who love you know things about you they never told you.

A Love Shower asks for those things and gives them to that person a little at a time, while they cross a moment that matters.

You never pretend to be tough when it isn’t worth it. I watched you ask for help in front of everyone, and since that day I can too.

The way you remember the small things people tell you, and ask about them again months later. Nobody does that.

Daniela
friends for twenty years

Someone wrote this to someone else. She had no idea. Nobody had ever told her.

Sometimes we think we’re not worth much.
The people around us think and feel otherwise.

A Love Shower gathers what everyone else thinks and feels about someone, and gives it back to them while they cross a moment that matters.

  • A birthday that lands heavy
  • A move
  • A loss
  • A degree
  • A diagnosis
  • An ending
Who writes
Whoever you invite. Each person answers five short questions from their phone, in three minutes.
What arrives
Las respuestas de todos, y entre ellas invitations to do something con lo que se está sintiendo.
How it arrives
No todo junto. Llega in blocks: cada pregunta es un bloque, con todas sus respuestas. Llegan al azar y con espacio entre uno y otro, para que cada cosa aterrice.
Who reads it
Only the person receiving it. Not even you, who set it up, get to see the answers.
What stays
A document with everything, to keep or print. And if you want, a printed book with the same answers.

Asking people what they see in you isn’t vanity. It’s the only way to reach something of yours that lives inside other people.

What reaches them

A link that opens on its own, little by little. Inside there are two things.

What the people who contributed to the gift wrote.

We asked themWhat I admire most about you ___

That you never pretend to be tough when it isn’t worth it. I watched you ask for help in front of everyone and since that day I can too.

Marcela

Activities

Invitations to do something with whatever they’re feeling. They’re optional, they match the occasion, and all they need is paper or a phone.

Three questions in the mirror

Stand in front of a mirror. Look yourself in the eyes, not at the rest of your face.

What do I need?
What am I avoiding?
What am I proud of?

46 people wrote what they see in her. It reached her over a week, in blocks, so each thing could land. These answers are real. We changed the names.

That through all the doubt you’re still an “I have doubts, but I’m doing it anyway.”

Pablo
A moment when you made me feel loved

You let me pick whichever little stone I liked best from the ones in your house. I know what they mean to you, and that made me feel part of your circle.

Tere

In a hard moment for me you put together a whole session and sat with me, just to be there and let me be myself.

Something I want you to read on a hard day

You can always go back to the places that are good for you. And by place I mean any moment that reminds you we’re here.

And what stays afterward?

When the journey ends they see it all together: what people wrote and what they did. They can add a photo to each activity and keep the whole thing.

So it’s completely clear

It is not

a greeting carda video of people saying hi a WhatsApp groupa form

It is

A gift from many people

It shows them what makes others shine around them, and everything they give without noticing.

Private

No one sees what the others wrote. Only the person receiving it.

Forever

At the end a document with everything remains. And it can become a book.

Es una forma de crossing a threshold with company por la gente que ya venía caminando al lado.

I love it. What do I have to do?

Four short steps. The real work is done by the people who write: all you have to do is ask them well.

1

You set it up

You pick the occasion, who it’s for and when it opens. Two minutes.

2

You share the link

We give you the message already written to send on WhatsApp. That message is what makes people answer beautifully, so we don’t leave it to chance.

3

It fills up on its own

From your dashboard you see how many people wrote and who is missing. You can resend the link without leaving.

4

You hand it over

You decide whether the link arrives on its own or you hand it over in person. The loveliest thing is for you to be the one who tells them.

A name already came to mind.

That person has gone years without knowing what they mean to you and to everyone who loves them.

For someone elseYou make the gift for another person. It can be a surprise: nobody finds out until you want them to. Make theirs
For meAsking is harder than giving. You can still do it: you ask your people to tell you what they see in you. Ask for mine

Because to be seen is to be loved.

What the people who received one say

They told me who I’ve been in their eyes. It’s a hug to the heart, from someone else’s heart.
Ariela Jacob
Received one for her birthday
They made my celebration not just a day, but a feeling I can always come back to.
Stephanie Zepeda
Her first birthday alone in a new city. After reading it she started painting and never stopped.
I couldn’t stop crying from awe, from connection, from the love overflowing. It’s the most meaningful gift I’ve ever received.
Liliana Matheu
Received one without knowing it existed

The usual doubts

What if nobody answers?

More people answer than you expect, because you’re asking people who already love that person. It’s three minutes from their phone. From your dashboard you can resend the link to whoever is missing.

How many people do I invite?

Whoever you think will answer from the heart. There’s no minimum and no list to build.

What if I’m not good with words?

Nobody has to be a writer. The questions are short and one sentence is enough.

Who reads what I write?

Only the person who receives it.

What does it cost?

Nothing, and it will stay that way: creating a Love Shower is free, whether five people answer or fifty, and receiving it is free too.

La herramienta viene del coaching sistémico. La aprendí en Kaospilot+ Berlin, donde les decíamos gossip showers.

We would sit in a circle and talk about a person as if they weren’t there, but only about what we saw in them. That person listened without being able to reply.

People left feeling seen, loved, connected. Glowing.

and grateful, always grateful

The problem is it needs a circle, someone to hold it, and everyone in the same room. What I do here is translate that into something that can happen even when the people who love you are in five different countries.

Who needs to hear this?
